Important: the destination country determines the process of handling your documents. Countries fall into two categories, Apostille or Non-Apostille.
Our turn around for most Embassies is 5 to 7 business days plus the mailing time.
Procedure
- Notarize the document at the Washington D.C. Courthouse.
- Certify the document at the Secretary of State in Washington D.C.
- Authenticate the document at the Dept. of State in Washington D.C.
- Legalize the document at the respective Embassy in Washington D.C.
Our turn around for most Embassies is 5 to 7 business days plus the mailing time.
Our turn around for an Apostil is 2 business days plus the mailing time.
The fees of the Notary, Secretary of State, and the US Dept of State, are included in the service charge.
However, you need to check the fees of the respective Embassy, and send their payment in a separate money order or cashier's check payable to the respective Embassy. Or call ASAP. We will help you with the information.
We accept Company Checks, Cashier's Checks or Money Order payable to ASAP Document Services.
Include your self-paid return mail FEDEX, UPS or DHL when mailing your documents to the address above.
